we practically took a tour around singapore while trying to find Aloha Changi, which was where the band chalet was held.
was supposed to meet joline ng at 5.10 and then meet li zhen, shih yann, shu ling and priscilla at 5.20 on the bus. BUT! joline ng came at 5.30, and by then the bus the rest were on had already left. :s
but, nvm. they were on 24, but we took 53 because
a) it went to the same destination and
b) it had a shorter route
so anyway, we happily hopped onto 53, thinking that we would reach our destination without a glitch.
but NO. at Changi Airport, where we were supposed to drop, some stupid thing happened and policemen at the road didnt allow the bus to turn into the bus stop!!!!! so obviously, the bus driver was confused and didnt know where to go. we travelled at a snail's pace and finally he dopped us off at terminal 2, instead of terminal 1 where li zhen and the rest were waiting.
at terminal 2, we didnt know what the hell to do. so we went to the taxi stand, and there was a bloody expensive freaking $5 sur-charge!!!! what is this!? we're SINGAPOREANS, hello, not some blur tourists that dont know what the charges are in singapore!! ok, so there is a sur-charge of taxis at the airport, but it's $3, not $5!!
the bloody taxi fare came up to $12.80. to travel frm Changi Airport to Aloha Changi. [yeah, BOTH Changi, but still $12.80!? even without the sur-charge it's still $7.80 ok. damn ex lah!!!!!! the taxi driver must be pissed because we had no luggages and therefore he could not extort us because we obviously werent tourists. bloody hell.]
so, instead of the expected time of 6++ to reach the chalet, we reached one hr later! and i still owe joline $2.40.
ate bee hoon, otah [which was bloody spicy and felt weird], fishballs, hot dogs, half-cooked bbqed chicken wings, watermelon [which my dear junior bernard took specially frm me!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA..]..
chee boon, zhi jie and xerxes weeeeeeeeee arrived much much much later. they were worse than us. they walked frm dont know where and got lost!! hahahaha. the moment chee boon came, he started to complain to me abt the stuff i wrote abt his class and the shao ye gang. apparently they really hate me and those sitting at the back door of their classroom have heard all abt it. whatever.

i'm bullying ang shu ling again!!!! though it's not so obvious. :x xerxes weeeeeeeeee says that is his moody face. if that really is his moody face, i dont know what's his happy face man. oh yeah. we're holding the graduation presents that the band gave us! no pics of that, though.

ah, better. had to scream at zhi jie thousands of times until he stopped disturbing. frm left to right, uthayan, wani, me, bernard, nazruddin. 
final pic before we headed home. zul had to tip toe because he was too short! i couldnt stop making fun of him because of that. :p
we took 29 together so that we could change bus later to 109. something damn embarrassing happened but i promised tan li zhen not to blog abt it so i wont. :D
the bottom line is, we missed the 109 stop so we took 29 all the way to the Tampines interchange. li zhen and priscilla took mrt, shu ling took 72 and me, shih yann and chee boon took 81, frm the Tampines interchange all the way to the Serangoon interchange. sat until my ass hurt. didnt help that my legs were already aching frm the Pulau Ubin walk.
found a new job, at the company where maxine ang is working. found jobs for joline and chewww too! :D
it is lim shih yann's birthday tomorrow!
